对话东西方本草会议征文指南

本草是我国伟大而独特的中医药文化宝库,从中原《神农本草经》到云南的《滇南本草》,记录着先民的健康智慧。无独有偶,西方本草(Materia Medica)自古亦有之,但在工业革命后衰落,仅在民间零星保留。为增进东西方本草文化的交流对话,延续和促进对西方中医药的学术研究,云南中医药大学将与中国中医科学院中国医史文献研究所,于2019718-21日,联合主办“第七届中医西学国际论坛”,主题为“对话东西方本草”。论坛将邀请国内外知名专家学者做主旨发言,亦遴选优秀论文作者做演讲或壁报交流。进行以本草为主题的多学科、国际化的对谈,以扩展思路、寻求创新并拓展未来研究领域。

 

一、论坛主题:

对话东西方本草。

 

二、征文范围:

本论坛欢迎但不限于中医药、社会学、人类学、历史学、哲学、传播学、艺术等学科的论文投稿,以下为指南:

1.本草之用:本草在不同文化背景下的运用、临床治疗及养生保健,国际标准与制定等;

2.本草之史:本草历史文献相关研究,如东西方本草历史概念变迁,本草典籍、文物、植物图谱研究等;

3.本草之传变:本草在东西方的传播及传播的优势和瓶颈,文化融通,东西方本草互动、相互影响等;

4.本草之杂谈:如艺术、博物、信息、技术和贸易等与本草相关的专题研究。

 

三、征文格式要求:

1.稿件要求:论文未在国内外期刊公开发表;要求主题突出、内容充实、观点明确、资料翔实、论证严密、逻辑清晰、语言文字合乎规范,有独到见解,有一定的学术价值或实践借鉴价值。

2.稿件体例:来稿的页面内容依次包括题目、作者姓名、摘要(300字以内)、关键词(一般可选3-6个关键词,多个关键词之间应以分号分隔)、文章正文(3000-6000字)、作者信息(包括姓名、单位、部门、职务、职称、单位所在省市、邮政编码、联系电话、邮箱)、参考文献(请按国家标准《文后参考文献著录规则》著录)。

3.字体要求:论文题目用四号黑体字居中,其它字体均为宋体小四号字;英文和数字用TimeNewRoman字体,小四号。

4.文中标题一般分为三级,第一级标题用“1”“2”“3”标示;第二级标题用“1.1”“1.2”“1.3”标示;第三级标题用1.1.1”“1.1.2”“1.1.3标示每级标题符号前均空两格。

5.引文务必注明出处。注释一律在本页使用脚注,每页重新排序,用①②③……表示;参考文献放在文末(尾注),用[1][2][3]参考表示。

6.请自留底稿,恕不退稿。

收到论文我们将及时给作者回复,组织专家进行评审,将邀请优秀论文作者作为嘉宾进行演讲或壁报交流。录用论文在征得作者同意的前提下编纂为会议论文集或推荐到科技核心期刊发表。

The 7th International Conference of Western Studies on Chinese Medicine:

Dialogue of Materia Medica between East and West

1 Purpose

Materia Medica or Herbalism (Bencao) is a great and unique cultural treasure in Chinese medicine. From the Shennong Bencao Jing (Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica) to the Diannan Bencao (Materia Medica in Southern Yunnan), the healthy wisdom relying on the power of nature have been well recorded. Today, Chinese herbal medicine has developed into a mature industry and independent healthcare system in China. Similarly, there is a long-standing tradition of herbal medicine in the west, which was originated from ancient Egypt and Babylon, but declined rapidly after the industrial Revolution. The anthropological research on Chinese medicine in the west has developed over the years and attracted attention from China and abroad. Since 2013, Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine has held six consecutive “International Conference of Western Studies on Chinese Medicine”. In order to continue this academic tradition and promote exchanges between Chinese and Western cultures, "The 7th International Conference of Western Studies on Chinese Medicine" will be organized by the Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine and China Institute for History of Medicine and Medical Literature of Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences together, from July 18th to 21st 2019. The Conference theme will be "Dialogue of Materia Medica between East and West". The conference will focus on dialogue of Materia Medica between east and west, sharing results from interdisciplinary research. Experts and scholars from related fields are welcome. Round-table discussion will also be held for multidisciplinary and internationalized exchanges on the theme of "Herbalism (Bencao)" in order to expand vision and seek innovative research fields.

2 Papers

Contributions are welcome from scholars, researchers, herbalism practitioners, educators and graduate students working in all fields including but not limited to sociology, anthropology, history, philosophy, communication, arts and other disciplines engaged in the study of herbalism or materia medica. Specific themes may include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Herbal use: Herbal uses in different cultural contexts, clinic, healthcare, international standards and development, etc.;
  2. Herbal history: Changes in historical concepts of eastern and western herbs, herbal classics, plant paintings, history and literature research in herbalism, etc.
  3. Herbal influence: the transmission of herbalism in the East and the West, the advantages and bottlenecks of communication, the translation of herbal culture, the interaction of eastern and western herbals, mutual influence, etc.
  4. Herbal Multidiscipline: art, antiquities, artifacts, information, literature, technology, commercialization, etc.

The call for papers opens on 18 April 2019 and closes on 20 June 2019.
